Job Overview:

As a Pool Monitor, you’ll be responsible for ensuring appropriate pool access for residents and guests, basic pool upkeep and rules enforcement.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Capable of enforcing all pool rules and regulations in a polite and professional manner.
  • Move furniture to pool area prior to swim commencing.
  • Ensure bathers are showering prior to entering pool.
  • Clean up the general pool area by returning chairs and equipment back to proper locations.
  • • Attend pool monitor meetings.

Skills & Qualifications:

  • Minimum of High School diploma.
  • Experience and training in customer service is highly desirable.
  • Experience in an aquatic setting desirable.
  • Highly effective interpersonal skills, problem solving abilities, and advanced communication skills a plus.
  • Must present a professional image. Must be outgoing and able to work with all types of people. Must be energetic.
  • Accountable for one’s own work, decisions and safety of oneself and others.

Physical Requirements:

  • Capable of working extended hours, to include evenings, weekends and holidays as Anecessary. Must be available to also work full time.
  • Able to see well enough to read faint or partially obscured writing or painting, with corrective lenses if needed.
  • Must be able to speak English in a clear and understandable voice so that various types of communications may be conducted with people of various levels of education and capabilities, to include the exchange and receipt of information over the telephone.
  • Position involves sitting, standing, stooping, kneeling, pushing, shoving, lifting, carrying and moving objects that can weigh up to 45 lbs. This movement can occur throughout the day.
  • Must also be able to climb several flights of stairs if necessary.
  • No health conditions that could interfere with working in heat, prolonged walking, etc.
  • Must be able to interact with all types of individuals, be mentally alert, detail oriented, and with good reasoning skills.
  • • Comfortable working in extreme weather conditions. (i.e. High temperatures)
