Job description

Major Services is a high-level pool maintenance and repair company serving customers in the Central Texas Region. Our customer base is growing, so we are expanding our team. We are seeking a Pool Repair Tech. This is a salaried position. We offer paid time off and health care. We serve clients with small private pools to large HOAs.

Our Current Services Include:

  • Weekly pool maintenance
  • Green/Drain to clean
  • Filter cleaning
  • One time clean
  • Filter service
  • Pool and Equipment Repair
  • Pool start-ups

Job Description:

  • Clean debris from pool, empty skimmer baskets, net, and/or skim
  • Test pool water to determine what chemicals are needed to balance and add chemicals as needed
  • Clean pump baskets and backwash filters depending on the type
  • Test equipment to make sure it functions properly
  • Brush all surfaces of the pool to remove any algae growth
  • Record service notes in CRM

Convey equipment repair needs with office staff

Job Requirements:

  • Valid Texas driver's license – Clean driving record
  • Ability to keep a detailed log of tasks performed, chemical readings, and repair recommendations. Upload photos.
  • Familiarity with a smartphone, tablet, and computer.
  • Ability to lift at least 50 Lbs
  • Drive a company vehicle from a corporate location.
  • Must be able to work outdoors frequently and on a daily basis
  • The position requires heavy travel time varying from 15 mins to 4 hours to a destination

Qualifications:

  • Pass a background check (no felonies. No theft, fraud, or assault charges of any kind)
  • Pass drug screening
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Good communications skills
  • Have a professional appearance following company guidelines
  • Integrity and character are a must along with a willingness to learn
  • Previous experience is a plus!
