About the Position

We are searching for a Senior Mechanical Engineer to join our growing Professional Design Services team. This position is available in our Atlanta, Charlotte and Huntsville offices. The ideal candidate will have 10+ years of relevant MEP design engineering experience and a passion for growth, collaboration, and innovation. In this role, you will take a leadership position in designing mechanical systems, including but not limited to HVAC, plumbing, and piping. You will also mentor junior and mid-level MEP engineering professionals and support proposal efforts. Design projects will span multiple markets and geographies, offering opportunities to expand your knowledge and deepen your expertise in building systems design. We are looking for an independent self-starter who can efficiently move through various design stages, from concept planning to construction documentation.

Experience and Qualifications
  • BS in Mechanical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering Technology from an accredited college or university
  • 10+ years of related MEP experience
  • Proficient with relevant software such as Revit, AutoCAD and BIM
  • Experience mentoring and training employees
  • Experience leading projects, supporting proposal efforts and interfacing with clients

PE License required, or passage of the PE exam with licensure pending

  • Ability to work well within a team environment, positive attitude, multi-task, and self-motivated to produce high quality work
  • Ability and desire to learn and grow professionally
