Adjunct Faculty - PhilosophyJOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARYJoin Florida Polytechnic University - Florida's all-STEM public university and the #1 public college in the South - as a part-time adjunct instructor in Philosophy. In this role, you will engage high-achieving undergraduate math, science, and engineering majors in face-to-face classes, such as Introduction to Philosophy, which serves as an introduction to the nature of philosophy, philosophical thinking, and major intellectual movements and figures in the history of philosophy, along with classical and contemporary problems and applications.JOB DESCRIPTION

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES

• Face-to-face course development and delivery skills.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Teaching and industry experience preferred.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

• Master's degree from an accredited institution with at least 18 credit hours in the discipline.

COMPENSATION:Starting salary will be commensurate with years of teaching or professional experience.
