    Delrin® Project Team Leader
    Job Description:
    The Delrin® Project Team Leader is an exciting opportunity to take responsibility for and deliver results in the Technical group. The Project Team Leader oversees the design, procurement, and construction of capital expenditure (CapEx) projects ranging from $100K to $10MM. This role leads a multi-disciplinary engineering team at the Delrin® Washington Works to deliver plant upgrades, expansions, and environmental compliance projects safely, on time, and within budget.
    Key Responsibilities:
    • Safety & Compliance: Ensure all projects comply with OSHA Process Safety Management (PSM), EPA regulations, and local environmental standards.
    • Project Execution: Work with Front End Loading Engineers to scope projects and then lead the capital projects through commissioning and handover.
    • Team Leadership: Coordinate and lead internal and external project engineers, design drafting staff, procurement resources, and construction resources. No direct reports.
    • Budget & Schedule: Work with Front End Loading Engineers and Estimator to develop detailed cost estimates, and then during project execution be responsible for tracking expenditures, managing project contingency, and maintaining execution timelines.
    • Procurement: Collaborate with procurement resources to technical-source equipment, negotiate vendor contracts, and manage mechanical contractors.
    • Communication and Reporting: Communicate project updates and progress to all stakeholders. Prepare and present regular project status reports. Address any issues or concerns raised by stakeholders promptly.

    Working Conditions:
    • Work for this role is a mixture of office and plant time, which may involve exposure to various weather conditions and physical demands.
    • To meet project deadlines the role may require working long hours, including evenings and weekends especially during plant maintenance outages.

    Ideal Profile:
    • Proven experience as a Project Team Leader or similar role in the construction industry.
    • Preferred experience as a Project Team Leader at a Chemical Plant.
    • Strong knowledge of construction processes, materials, and safety regulations.
    • Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
    • Proficiency in project management software and tools.
    • Ability to read and interpret construction plans and specifications.
    • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
    • Based in Parkersburg.
