Job description

ABBA Roller is seeking a Manufacturing Technician 2 - CNC Grinder to support the finishing and precision grinding of industrial rollers and wheels. This role is responsible for operating grinding and polishing equipment to achieve required product dimensions, tolerances, and surface finishes while maintaining quality and production standards. The ideal candidate has prior manufacturing or machine operation experience and a strong attention to detail.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Operate grinding and polishing equipment to remove excess material and achieve specified dimensions and surface finishes.
  • Load and unload rollers, wheels, and components onto grinding equipment using proper lifting and handling techniques.
  • Perform grinding operations in accordance with work instructions, specifications, and production schedules.
  • Use precision measuring instruments, including calipers, micrometers, and gauges, to verify product dimensions and quality requirements.
  • Monitor machine performance and identify defects, quality concerns, or equipment issues.
  • Maintain accurate production, inspection, and quality records.
  • Assist with machine setup, tooling changes, and routine maintenance activities as needed.
  • Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment.
  • Follow all company safety, quality, and operational procedures.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives and contribute to overall production goals.

Education and Experience
  • High School Diploma or GED preferred.
  • 2-3+ years of manufacturing, machine operation, or grinding experience preferred.
  • Experience operating grinders, lathes, polishing equipment, or similar manufacturing machinery is a plus.
