Location: Springfield, VA

Fall 2026


Sherpa 6 is seeking a motivated college student for a Government Relations and Public Policy internship this fall 2026. This internship will allow students to gain hands-on experience tracking legislation, analyzing policies, and learning how to develop advocacy strategies that align with corporate objectives. 


Key Responsibilities 

  • Learn key business operations and how state and federal (or international) legislative and regulatory activities impact corporate operations and market sectors.  
  • Synthesize political and policy developments into clear reports, briefing materials, and presentations.  
  • Help assist in coordinating external advocacy efforts and stakeholder outreach programs.  
  • Hands on experience working in Capitol Hill, take notes and prepare summaries for meetings with government officials.

  • Currently pursuing a B.S. degree in Political Science, Public Policy, or International Relations. 
  • Exceptional research and writing skills are required to draft white papers, executive summaries, and policy positions.
