Saint Peter's offers more than 50 undergraduate majors as well as master's level and doctorate programs
Duties and Responsibilities:
The Department of Political Science at Saint Peter's University invites applications for a part- time faculty position specializing in American politics beginning in the fall of 2024. The successful candidate will be expected to teach a wide variety of American politics courses, including the department introductory political science course, basic American government course, as well as upper-level courses on Congress, the presidency, the courts, elections, and constitutional law.
Rank: Adjunct Instructor
Tenure Track: Non-Tenure Track
Salary Range: $840 - $900 per credit.
Qualification Standards:
The successful candidate must be available to teach during the day on either a Monday/Wednesday/ Thursday patters or a Tuesday/Friday pattern, and or in the evening, or online.
Education:
A minimum of a master's degree (or higher) in political science is required.
Experience:
Applicants with studies in International Relations or Comparative Politics are preferred.
