Description
The Department of Political Science at Bryn Mawr College invites applications for a full-time, tenure-track Assistant Professor position in American (U.S.) Politics to begin August 1, 2027. We are open to candidates working in a wide range of areas, but we are particularly interested in those whose research examines extra-governmental organizations - such as political parties, interest groups, and media - or scholars with an interest in public opinion, political behavior, and elections. The successful candidate will maintain an active research agenda and teach American politics at the introductory and advanced levels, including 300-level seminars and courses in quantitative and mixed methods. Candidates must demonstrate excellence in research and undergraduate teaching and have completed all Ph.D. requirements by the start date.
