Polish language jobs are positions that require proficiency in the Polish language, either as a primary or secondary skill. These jobs can be found in various sectors such as translation, interpretation, customer service, teaching, tourism, and international business. Employers look for candidates who can communicate effectively in Polish, often to serve Polish-speaking clients or to facilitate business with Polish partners. Fluency in Polish can be a significant asset in multinational companies or organizations operating within Poland or with Polish communities. Typical roles include translator, interpreter, language teacher, bilingual customer support, and localization specialist.

What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive as a Polish language teacher, and why are they important?

To thrive as a Polish Language Teacher, you need fluency in Polish and a relevant teaching qualification, often supplemented by a degree in Polish philology or education. Familiarity with language instruction tools, digital learning platforms, and assessment systems is typically required. Strong communication, cultural sensitivity, and patience are essential soft skills for engaging students and facilitating effective learning. These skills ensure students gain language proficiency and cultural understanding in a supportive and effective educational environment.

What are some common challenges faced by Polish language translators working in a professional setting?

Polish language translators often encounter challenges such as managing tight deadlines for document delivery, maintaining accuracy with complex or technical terminology, and ensuring that cultural nuances are preserved in translations. Staying updated with evolving language trends and industry-specific vocabulary is also crucial to provide high-quality translations.

WHY THIS ROLE IS IMPORTANT TO US

At SimCorp, our strategic direction is centred on Platform Leadership, SaaS Acceleration, and Ecosystem Scaling. • Balance delivery focus on sprint commitments with longer-term team development and engineering maturity.
  • Foster a healthy, engaging, and psychologically safe team environment.
  • Partner with engineering leaders across locations to drive cross-team initiatives and encourage knowledge sharing.
  • Work closely with Tech Leads to strengthen engineering excellence, including code quality, reliability, and continuous improvement.
What we value

  • Experience leading and developing engineering teams, with the ability to inspire and support people.
  • A good understanding of agile ways of working and how to apply them in practice.
  • Experience within Platform Engineering, DevOps, or a related area.
  • A strong motivation to build and sustain high-performing teams.
  • Experience driving continuous improvement within a team environment.
  • Strong organizational, planning, and documentation skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and a supportive, service-oriented leadership approach.
  • A collaborative mindset, with a focus on transparency, openness, and trust.
  • The ability to communicate and work effectively across regions, cultures, and time zones.
  • Alignment with our core values: Caring, Customer Success Driven, Collaboration, Curious, and Courageous.
Our Benefits
  • Flexible working hours and hybrid model - 2 days in the office, 3 days remote
  • Modern office (next to Wilanowska metro station) with quiet zones and ergonomic workstations
  • Base salary with annual bonus structure
  • Holiday allowance upon a 2-week vacation
  • Occasional remote work across Poland and international options available (up to 24 days domestic, 20 days international per year - subject to internal policy)
  • Employer-paid Medicover Platinum healthcare package (employee-paid family upgrade available)
  • Multisport card with 75% employer contribution
  • Unum group life insurance (employee-paid upgrade available)
  • Medicover travel insurance for private trips and global business travel insurance
  • Possibility to join Deutsche Bรถrse Group Share Plan (eligible after 1 year)
  • Copyrights program for certain roles
  • Possibility to develop your career in an international environment
  • Professional training and courses provided by SimCorp
