Job description

Security Alliance is actively seeking qualified Level III Armed Security Officers to join our elite team in Homestead, Florida. This is a high-responsibility and critical position within our security operations, offering the opportunity to play a significant role in ensuring the safety and security of our clients and their assets.
Responsibilities
      •     Provide armed security services in a variety of settings, including but not limited to vehicular patrols.
      •     Act as a Security Officer Supervisor when required, leading teams and ensuring the effectiveness of security protocols.
      •     Maintain readiness to respond to emergencies and effectively manage situations until resolution.
      •     Ensure compliance with all legal, regulatory, and company policies and procedures.
Minimum Requirements
      1.    Licensure:
      •     Valid Firearms “G” license from the Florida Department of State, pursuant to Florida Statute 493.
      •     Valid Class “D” license from the Florida Department of State, pursuant to Florida Statute 493.
      •     Valid State of Florida Driver’s license (Required for officers assigned to vehicular patrols).
      2.    Education/Experience:
      •     Bachelor’s degree with a concentration in Criminal Justice, Police Science, or Security Administration, or
      •     An equivalent combination of Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree and Military, Security, or Security-related Experience, or
      •     Minimum three (3) years of experience as a police officer, or
      •     Minimum three (3) years of experience as a military police officer, or
      •     Minimum three (3) years of experience as a correctional officer (sworn with arrest powers), or
      •     Minimum three (3) years of experience as a career military.
      3.    Additional Considerations:
      •     Miami-Dade Police Academy graduates and other local police academy graduates who meet the State of Florida licensure requirements.
      •     Veterans with Combat experience may be considered for the Level-III officer position on a case-by-case basis.
Preferred Qualifications
      •     Strong leadership and communication skills.
      •     Proven ability to work effectively in high-pressure situations.
      •     High level of physical fitness and ability to pass a rigorous physical assessment.
