Executive Personal Assistant to Founder/CEO, Successful Real Estate Firm, Katy Texas


The Founder and CEO of a Houston-based multifamily real estate investment firm who is also building a national media presence through podcast production and investor content is seeking an Executive Personal Assistant. This is a right-hand seat: part executive support, part personal logistics, part household and vendor coordination, part travel and production support, for one fast-moving principal. This is an in-person position mostly at his office in Katy Texas with some time spent at their office in the Galleria area. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who wants to be a true force multiplier, being involved in every detail of his day including heavy meeting scheduling and coordination with internal and external stakeholders and partners. The ideal candidate has at least 5 yearsโ€™ experience supporting a high-level executive, preferably within real estate. The candidate will also need to travel with the CEO up to 3 -5 days a month to attend meetings, seminars and conferences and help with his podcasts.

About the Job:

  • Support the CEO as a right hand โ€œgatekeeperโ€ with all day-to-day matters including complex calendar management keep the CEO on track for meetings, site visits, and strategic priorities.
  • Organize and manage travel arrangements with detailed itineraries;
  • Prioritize emails; proactively follow up or bring attention to time-sensitive and urgent matters with investors, lenders, brokers, legal, and development partners.
  • Prepare email correspondence, reports, briefings, and other documents for internal stakeholders, and client meetings.
  • Build strong relationships with the CEOโ€™s direct reports and external partners to ensure information flow and alignment.
  • Manage expense reporting
  • Handle personal work and projects; Run errands
  • Need to travel with the CEO, 3-5 days per month for meetings, seminars and for monthly Las Vegas production trips, podcast/video logistics, guest coordination
  • Ad hoc projects; plan investor dinners, events.

About You:

  • Over 5 years of experience as an Executive Personal Assistant supporting a Cโ€‘Suite Executive, preferably in real estate.
  • Bachelorโ€™s Degree.
  • High level of integrity and discretion handling confidential information; high emotional and intellectual curiosity with a โ€œhigh touchโ€ service mentality.
  • Excellent Microsoft Office Suite skills; Tech savvy with hands-on experience using AI tools to improve efficiency
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to travel 3-5 days a month with the CEO depending on whatโ€™s going on
  • A proactive problem-solver who anticipates needs and acts as a true force multiplier with a roll up your sleeves, โ€œcan doโ€ attitude.
