Job description
Primary responsibilities for this position include selecting and researching show topics, pre-interviewing and booking guests, writing scripts and promotional materials, and editing audio recordings for broadcasts.
The Due South Producer will also create content for digital and social media platforms, participate in fundraising activities and station events, may occasionally fill-in for the Executive Producer, and other duties as assigned.
The Due South Producer reports to the Executive Producer and works in collaboration with the co-hosts and producer colleagues. The team will actively work to ensure that a diversity of stories and participants are selected for production, and that our content is relevant and accessible to diverse audiences.

* Demonstrated ability to plan and meet deadlines, working with materials from a variety of sources and collaborators
* Demonstrated ability to work with colleagues effectively and collaboratively
