Podcast Graphic Designers are creative professionals who specialize in creating visual assets for podcasts, such as cover art, episode graphics, social media visuals, and promotional materials. Their work helps establish a podcast’s brand identity and attract listeners by making the show visually appealing and recognizable. They collaborate with podcast hosts and producers to ensure the graphics align with the podcast’s tone and target audience. A strong understanding of design principles and familiarity with podcast platforms’ technical requirements are essential for this role.

How does a podcast graphic designer typically collaborate with podcast hosts and producers during the creative process?

Podcast Graphic Designers often work closely with hosts and producers to understand the show's tone, target audience, and branding goals. Collaboration usually involves attending planning meetings, sharing mood boards, and iterating on drafts based on feedback. Designers are expected to translate audio concepts into compelling visuals, ensuring consistency across cover art, episode visuals, and promotional materials. Strong communication skills and openness to feedback are essential, as the design process is highly collaborative and iterative within podcast teams.

Job description

About Us

Health is the most important thing in life, and the American healthcare system is completely broken - poor outcomes, high cost, bad patient experience. We're building a new system from the ground up.

Our mission is to improve people's health by making it easy to live a healthy lifestyle.

Nourish is the country's largest dietitian-led metabolic health clinic. We're an AI-native digital health system matching patients with 10,000+ Registered Dietitians, physicians, medications, lab testing, and AI agents to deliver insurance-covered care across all 50 states. Founded four years ago, we've completed millions of appointments, tripled year-over-year, and partnered with health plans covering 200M+ Americans across 250+ health systems.

In 2026 we raised a $100M Series C, bringing total funding to $215M. The round was led by Menlo Ventures, with participation from Thrive Capital, Index Ventures, J.P. Morgan Growth Equity Partners, Maverick Ventures, Y Combinator, BoxGroup, Atomico, Daybreak, and Operator Partners.

Learn more about our Series C here: Nourish Blog, Bloomberg, Fierce Healthcare, Digital Native, The Pulse Podcast.

This is not a job for everyone. We hold an extremely high bar because we believe talent density is our biggest competitive advantage. We're looking for people who actively choose hard, ambiguous problems, who run toward unglamorous work, give and receive candid feedback, and bring relentless resilience without the ego. Our work is important, but we are not self-important. We do this because we're solving one of the hardest problems in the world, and the problem matters. If that's you, we disproportionately reward it.

About the Role:

Brand at Nourish isn't a marketing function; it's a product.

You'll own the visual expression of the company across every touchpoint, ensuring that everything we ship feels unmistakably Nourish. Some days you'll be creating launch campaigns or directing photography. Other days you'll be designing a conference booth, animating product announcements, refining our website, or helping product designers bring our brand into the product itself.

We're looking for someone equally comfortable thinking conceptually and executing at a very high level of craft. You should love moving between disciplines and enjoy making things yourself.

What you'll do:
  • Own the visual identity of Nourish across every customer and company touchpoint.
  • Extend and evolve our recently launched brand system while maintaining consistency and quality
  • Design marketing campaigns, product launches, websites, social content, presentations, recruiting materials, environmental graphics, print collateral, and everything in between
  • Create motion graphics and animations that bring the brand to life across digital experiences
  • Partner closely with Product Design to ensure our product experience reflects the same level of craft as our brand
  • Create photography, illustration, video, directing external creative partners when needed
  • Build scalable templates, systems, and guidelines that empower the rest of the company to create high-quality work
  • Raise the bar for visual craft across the organization and help establish Nourish as one of the best-designed brands in healthcare
We'd love to hear from you if:
  • You have 7+ years of experience in brand, visual, or art direction
  • You have an exceptional portfolio demonstrating outstanding typography, composition, and visual storytelling
  • You're a multidisciplinary designer who can move fluidly between digital, print, motion, and marketing
  • You have experience extending established brand systems, not just creating new ones
  • You sweat the details while never losing sight of the bigger picture
  • You're highly collaborative and enjoy working with cross-functional partners
  • You're comfortable wearing many hats and can move quickly without sacrificing quality
  • You're excited to build and expand rather than simply maintain
Nice to Have's:
  • Experience working on consumer technology or healthcare products
  • Experience art directing photography and creative productions
  • Experience designing and shipping marketing websites
  • Hands-on experience producing illustration, photography, or motion treatments
  • Experience with copywriting
  • You have strong motion design skills and are comfortable creating polished animations
  • Familiarity with AI-assisted creative workflows
  • Experience building brands inside fast-growing startups
  • Experience leading teams
What success looks like:
  • Every visual expression of Nourish feels cohesive, intentional, and unmistakably on-brand
  • The quality of our creative work elevates the perception of our product and company
  • Teams across the company have clear systems, templates, and assets that make it easy to create beautiful collateral
  • Our brand continues to evolve thoughtfully as the company expands into new products, services, and audiences
  • Nourish becomes recognized as one of the most thoughtfully designed brands in healthcare
