Airbus Commercial Aircraft is looking for an Experienced Business Operational Support (BOS) Design Engineer (f/m) to join our Aircraft Digital Airframe team based in Toulouse, France.

You will join the Airframe Deployment and BOS team (Business Operational Support). The core mission of the team is to deliver and standardize Business Operational Support, Business Release Management and Method & Tools compliance aiming excellence with continuous improvement of existing and to-be PMTD (Process Methods Tools Data) solution to internal and Extended Enterprise for a safe, innovative, competitive and sustainable digital aircraft.

Your challenges:

This activity is mainly dedicated to a specific Airbus Project (more details will be provided during the interview) and will include the following responsibilities:

  • Provide both reactive and proactive Design Business Operational support (BOS) to secure On Time, Cost and Quality deliveries as per SLA (Service Level Agreement).

  • Incident resolution: Support any requestor (Airbus Internal and Extended Enterprise) who needs help related to Design from basic questions to more complex topics. Very wide and diverse environment, in contact with many different functions at Airbus.

  • Manage overall BOS Design continuous improvement plan.

  • Launch root cause analysis and problem solving with relevant stakeholders and customers.

  • Provide elbow support, coaching & awareness sessions to end users.

  • Support training & awareness material creation and updates.

  • Create and update Knowledge Articles.

  • Support Project mapping assessment of existing Airframe Design Process Methods and Tools.

  • Support Project Design BOT (Business Own Tool) harmonization initiatives from Development teams and contribute to the BAT (Business Acceptance Test) campaign.

  • Secure Project BOS Design transformation and new set-up / way of working for Run Mode.

Your boarding pass:

  • You have a university degree in Engineering or equivalent.

  • You have strong knowledge, skills and experience (minimum 8 years) on the overall Airbus Design solutions especially on the Authoring Business Applications and modelling methods (e.g. Catia), but also on the Technical Data Management/Product Data Management solutions (e.g. PASS / VPM) and Digital Mock Up.

  • You have good Technical Knowledge of global Design process & methods (Design Components for Structures, Systems and Cabin Installation) and also on Configuration Management process & methods.

  • You have good knowledge on Business Operational Support activities.

  • Open-minded, proactive and self-confident person with excellent communication, networking and change management skills combined with the ability to motivate others.

  • Autonomous and an ability to take initiative.

  • English at negotiation level, French, German, Spanish language skills are considered as a plus.

  • Willingness to work in an international environment.
