Responsibilities (including but not limited to): 

  • Process and manage initial load-out and sustainment gear. Breakout SPEAR equipment requests.  
  • Inputting requisitions into the SPEAR system.  
  • Process and manage incoming material, stowage, inventories, and daily reconciliation of material issued in the SPEAR Web-based application. 
  • Life-cycle management to include return and disposal of all SPEAR gear issued to Techs and Operators.  
  • Use SPEAR management program. Coordinate with Special Operations Force Support Activity (SOFSA) for processing of all items marked for disposal. 
  • Refurbishment and retrofitting of returned SPEAR gear for reissuance
