What is a pm?

PMs, or Product Managers, are professionals responsible for guiding the success of a product and leading the cross-functional team responsible for improving it. They set the product vision and strategy, define requirements, and collaborate with engineering, marketing, and sales teams to deliver products that meet customer needs. PMs play a key role in ensuring that a product meets business goals and user expectations throughout its lifecycle.

How does a project manager typically coordinate with cross-functional teams during a project's lifecycle?

Project Managers (PMs) regularly collaborate with various departments such as engineering, marketing, finance, and operations to ensure all project goals are aligned and deadlines are met. They facilitate communication through regular meetings, status updates, and project management tools, helping to resolve issues quickly and keep everyone on track. Building strong relationships and understanding each team's priorities are key challenges, but these skills are essential for driving projects to successful completion. PMs often serve as the central point of contact, ensuring transparency and accountability across the project lifecycle.

The practice offers flexible scheduling and a strong administrative support infrastructure, allowing you to focus entirely on delivering high-quality, compassionate care without the burden of excessive administrative work. There are also opportunities for growth for attending physicians as the organization continues to expand.

Key Responsibilities
  • Evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients with musculoskeletal, orthopedic, and neurological conditions in an outpatient setting
  • Develop and implement individualized rehabilitation and pain management treatment plans
  • Apply evidence-based physical medicine and rehabilitation care to a caseload of 16–22 patients per day
  • Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team across occupational medicine, interventional pain management, and internal medicine
  • Maintain accurate clinical documentation in compliance with applicable standards
  • Participate in the continued growth and development of the PM&R service line
Requirements
  • California medical license — required (must be active by start of employment)
  • Current DEA registration — required
