Plumbing Service / Project Manager

Bold Plumbing Inc. is seeking an experienced and motivated Plumbing Service / Project Manager to join our team.

We are looking for someone who understands the plumbing trade, knows how to manage people and projects, and can take ownership of jobs from the initial customer request through completion and closeout.

This is a hands-on management position for someone who can balance service operations, project management, estimating, scheduling, customer communication, and job profitability. The ideal candidate is organized, accountable, communicates well, and understands what it takes to keep plumbers productive in the field while delivering quality work to our customers.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day plumbing service operations and active projects.
• Schedule and coordinate plumbers, apprentices, subcontractors, and other field personnel.
• Review incoming service calls and determine appropriate manpower, materials, and scheduling.
• Perform job walks and evaluate plumbing projects prior to estimating.
• Prepare estimates, proposals, scopes of work, change orders, and project budgets.
• Read and understand plumbing plans, specifications, and construction documents.
• Manage residential, commercial, remodel, repipe, and specialty plumbing projects from start to finish.
• Coordinate with homeowners, property managers, general contractors, superintendents, vendors, inspectors, and other trades.
• Order materials and coordinate deliveries to keep projects moving efficiently.
• Monitor labor hours, material costs, project schedules, and overall job profitability.
• Identify additional work and ensure change orders are documented and approved before proceeding.
• Provide clear direction and support to field technicians.
• Monitor workmanship and ensure Bold Plumbing Inc. quality standards are maintained.
• Help troubleshoot difficult plumbing and job-site conditions.
• Coordinate inspections, testing, startup, punch-list work, and project closeout.
• Maintain accurate job documentation, notes, photos, purchase information, and project records.
• Communicate project status, scheduling issues, and potential problems before they become larger issues.
• Help ensure completed work is documented and ready for timely billing.

Qualifications

• Strong plumbing industry experience required.
• Previous plumbing service management, project management, foreman, superintendent, or similar leadership experience preferred.
• Strong working knowledge of residential and commercial plumbing systems.
• Ability to read plans and specifications and develop accurate scopes of work.
• Experience estimating plumbing labor and materials.
• Understanding of job costing, labor productivity, material management, and project profitability.
• Ability to manage multiple service calls and projects simultaneously.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities.
• Comfortable communicating professionally with customers, contractors, vendors, inspectors, and field employees.
• Ability to make decisions and take ownership of assigned projects.
• Familiarity with plumbing codes, permitting, and inspection processes.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
