Plumbing Journeyman

Be a part of the company at the forefront of innovation in the remodeling industry.  We are currently recruiting for an experienced Plumbing Journeyman who wants to be a part of the Cornerstone team. 


The Plumbing Journeyman is an important part of our Remodeling team. The successful candidate will install and troubleshoot issues while following safety rules. We are looking for a candidate with some experience working with blueprints and building codes in residential settings.


This Plumbing Journeyman will work with the Plumbing team to make sure installations are done safely. We work in our customers' homes and at Cornerstone our goal is to Wow our customers, so meeting our customers' needs is our goal and you will be an important part of making that happen. 


Plumbing Journeyman

Installing plumbing systems during renovations and new construction

Repairing and or maintaining as needed during installation

Troubleshooting; diagnosing and resolving plumbing issues during installation such as leaks

Following all safety codes and regulations during installation

Reading Blueprints; understanding and interpreting to determine layout of plumbing systems

Handling a variety of plumbing materials, including pipes, fittings and fixtures 

Interacting professionally and respectfully with customers and co-workers

Communicating clearly and in a timely manner regarding needed supplies

Confirming job schedules and timelines with Project Manager(s)
 

Skills & Competencies

Ability to multitask in a fast-paced team environment

Professionally communicate verbally and in writing with customers and co-workers

 Commitment to accuracy, being detail oriented, able to trouble shoot and resolve problems

Dependable, reliable and punctual

Requirements

High School diploma or equivalent

A valid Florida driver's license

Ability to lift plumbing supplies; toilets, tubs, etc.

Available to work Monday through Friday from 6am - 2:30pm

A minimum of 2-3 years of plumbing experience
