Responsibilities:

Reports directly to the Master Plumber.

Communicate and work with Master Plumber to identify the best solutions and progress on jobs/tasks.

Install, repair and maintain plumbing & heating systems and fixtures.

Perform routine inspections, diagnose and troubleshoot plumbing issues and units.

Interpret blueprints and building specifications required for each job site.

Utilize and work with copper, steel, cast iron, PVC, CPVC, PEX, and other piping.

Keep detailed reports of work done and manage work log.

Keep up to date with applicable current safety regulations and requirements.

Adhere to safety policies and procedures.

Perform other duties as assigned.

Required Skills:

Must have plumbing experience in mechanical/HVAC.

Knowledgeable of plumbing techniques, supplies, and tools.

Knowledgeable of applicable codes and requirements.

Strong mathematical skills.

Read blueprints and piping diagrams.

Ability to well and solder pipes for repairs or installations.

Mechanical knowledge and basic contracting skills.

Excellent time management skills and ability to meet deadlines.

Work well independently and as a team member.

Detailed oriented, organized, and punctual.

Ability to communicate clearly and concisely.

Good work ethic and positive attitude.
