Responsibilities:
• Reports directly to the Master Plumber.
• Communicate and work with Master Plumber to identify the best solutions and progress on jobs/tasks.
• Install, repair and maintain plumbing & heating systems and fixtures.
• Perform routine inspections, diagnose and troubleshoot plumbing issues and units.
• Interpret blueprints and building specifications required for each job site.
• Utilize and work with copper, steel, cast iron, PVC, CPVC, PEX, and other piping.
• Keep detailed reports of work done and manage work log.
• Keep up to date with applicable current safety regulations and requirements.
• Adhere to safety policies and procedures.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
Required Skills:
• Must have plumbing experience in mechanical/HVAC.
• Knowledgeable of plumbing techniques, supplies, and tools.
• Knowledgeable of applicable codes and requirements.
• Strong mathematical skills.
• Read blueprints and piping diagrams.
• Ability to well and solder pipes for repairs or installations.
