Journeyman PlumberCompany: Odemz Plumbing
Location: Northern Virginia – preference for candidates local to Alexandria, VA and the surrounding service area
Service Area: Northern Virginia, Maryland, and Washington, DC
Schedule: Full-Time, Year-Round

Odemz Plumbing is seeking an experienced, licensed Journeyman Plumber to join our team. This position is ideal for a plumber who can work independently, troubleshoot complex plumbing issues, communicate professionally with customers, and take pride in delivering quality workmanship.
Our Journeyman Plumbers handle a variety of residential and commercial plumbing work, including water services, sewer systems, drainage, gas piping, and general plumbing repairs. The role also includes preparing estimates, documenting work, and maintaining a properly stocked and organized company work truck.
Responsibilities
  • Install, repair, and maintain residential and commercial plumbing systems
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot plumbing issues and determine appropriate repair solutions
  • Install and repair main water services, sewer lines, drainage systems, and gas piping
  • Assemble and install pipes, tubing, fittings, sinks, toilets, water heaters, and other plumbing fixtures
  • Repair and maintain commercial sewer and septic systems
  • Operate sewer cameras to inspect drainage and sewer systems
  • Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and applicable building codes
  • Prepare written estimates and communicate repair options and costs to customers
  • Provide professional and exceptional customer service
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and properly stocked work truck
  • Complete job documentation and use related billing/service software
  • Follow company safety policies and procedures
Qualifications
  • Journeyman Plumbing License required
  • 5+ years of plumbing experience
  • Residential and commercial plumbing experience
  • Strong troubleshooting, critical-thinking, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to read blueprints and schematics
  • Ability to safely bend, stretch, kneel, lift, and handle plumbing equipment
  • Experience operating a sewer camera
  • Ability to use billing and service management software
  • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
  • Ability to house and maintain a 10-foot box truck
  • Authorized to work in the United States
  • Must pass a background check and drug screening
