Job description

Sewer Inspector

Join our home inspection firm as a dedicated Sewer Inspector. We are seeking a professional with extensive experience in push camera operations and locating, ideally complemented by plumbing and sewer cleaning expertise. The role involves managing day-to-day operations of our sewer inspection services, encompassing inspection, reporting, customer service, and operational logistics.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough inspections of sewer lines using push camera technology and locate utilities as needed.
  • Prepare detailed reports on the condition of sewer lines and provide recommendations.
  • Communicate findings and reports via email to clients promptly and professionally.
  • Manage customer service interactions, including callbacks and re-inspections as necessary.
  • Access sewer lines through clean outs, roof vents, and toilet pulls.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience with push camera operations and utility locating.
  • Previous Plumber
  • Preferably skilled in plumbing and sewer cleaning techniques.
  • Ability to work full-time, six days per week, with a provided vehicle and equipment.
  • Clean driving record and professional appearance.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficiency with computers and related technology for report generation and communication.
  • Self-supervision capability and independence in daily tasks.
  • Willingness to report to the Operations Manager and potentially train/manage other inspectors in the future.
