Job Title: Service Plumbing Apprentice

Pay: $20.00 - $30.00 per hour, depending on experience + Spiffs

Work hours: Monday through Friday, 7:30 am to 5:00 pm, with occasional overtime

Position Overview: This is a residential service plumbing position working directly with a master plumber; ideal candidate will have 6 months + experience in plumbing or similar industry.

What you will be doing:

  • Residential Service and Installation plumbing
  • Performing installations, maintenance, and repair of plumbing and heating systems
  • Work involves maintaining, repairing, and servicing a variety of fixtures and equipment
  • Using plumbing snakes, augers, drills, saws, hammers, measuring tape, levels and screwdrivers
  • Consulting with customers and giving solutions that are beneficial for customer as well as company
  • Training provided for career growth including riding along and working with a master plumber and getting hands on training for career growth

Qualifications:

  • Valid driver's license and insurable driving record
  • 6 months + experience in residential plumbing, or combination of education and experience
  • Valid plumber's apprenticeship card, or acquire once employed
  • Ability to use tools of the trade including but not limited to: plumbing snakes, augers, drills, saws, hammers, measuring tape, levels and screwdrivers.
  • Ability to follow all safety policies and procedures
  • Ability to handle the physical workload and perform physical labor for extended periods of time.
  • Ability to consult on customer complaints and give solutions that are beneficial for customer as well as company
  • Strong troubleshooting and critical thinking skills
  • Excellent written and verbal skills
  • Willing to work in all types of weather

Candidates will be required to pass a background check and drug test upon being given a conditional offer of employment.
