Job Overview

  • Salary/Pay Rate: $28.00–$38.00 per hour
  • Location: Waconia, Minnesota
  • Job/Employment Type: Full-Time
  • Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM (30-minute lunch)
  • Project Scope: High-End Residential Plumbing Installation, System Layouts, and Premium Fixture Retrofits.
  • Mandatory Licenses & Certifications: Current Minnesota Journeyman Plumber License and a Valid Driver's License.

As a Residential Journeyman Plumber for Waconia Comfort, you will step away from basic service routes and focus on high-quality, relationship-driven installation projects. How You Will Make an Impact

  • Precision Installation: Diagnose, layout, install, and repair complete residential plumbing systems, routing lines, and high-end fixtures to exceptional aesthetic and technical standards.
  • Blueprint Interpretation: Read and flawlessly interpret complex blueprints, structural drawings, and system architectural layouts on-site.
  • Technical Mastery: Apply advanced water flow principles, execute flawless brazing, and utilize modern diagnostic testing equipment safely and efficiently.
  • Customer Trust: Provide a premium, relationship-driven experience for homeowners by communicating installation steps clearly and respecting their living spaces.
  • Operational Accuracy: Maintain an organized technical inventory, report tool or equipment issues proactively, and complete clean installation documentation daily.


Required Qualifications & Experience

  • Licensure: Current, active Minnesota Journeyman Plumber License.
  • Driving: Valid driver's license with an insurable driving record to operate company vehicles safely.
  • Physical Strength: Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 100 pounds on occasion during heavy equipment placement.
  • Mobility: Comfort working in confined spaces, at height from extension and step ladders, and performing frequent kneeling, squatting, and bending.
  • Tools: Provision and maintenance of the personal hand and power tools necessary to execute daily plumbing installation duties.


Preferred Qualifications & Experience

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Strong background in dedicated residential plumbing installation environments.
  • Deep, intuitive understanding of the current Minnesota plumbing codes and safety standards.
