Job Description

At Dan Wood Plumbing, Heating and Electrical, all service plumbing technicians assist in diagnostic and routine service visits to ensure proper repairs and code compliance are met in all completed work. Project work may also be performed in this role.

Key Accountabilities

  • Independently perform troubleshooting and diagnostic services for plumbing concerns in both residential and commercial settings.

  • Install plumbing fixtures, components, and systems according to code.

  • Work with other plumbing professionals to complete project work as required; this may include dig jobs and water heater installations

  • Ability to properly use drain equipment based on the type and location of the drain.

  • Interact with residential and commercial customers to learn more about concerns, discuss resolutions and collect payment on site.

Common service requests may include but are not limited to: fixture leaks, sump pump replacements, drain clearing and video inspection, toilet installations, and fixture replacements.

Desired Qualifications

  • Plumbing licensure is a plus

  • 2 years of in-field plumbing experience

  • Knowledge of plumbing codes and safety regulations

  • Can lift 50 lbs, bend, squat, and use ladders

  • Team player with the ability to work independently with minimal supervision

Job Specifications

  • Statue: Full Time, Non-exempt, Hourly

  • Working Hours: Monday-Friday 7:30am-4:00pm, plus overtime hours
