We are currently seeking a Sheetmetal Journeyman to join our HVAC and Plumbing installation department. This role involves pre-construction coordination and developing construction shop drawings for projects across various sectors.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Fabricate, install, and repair commercial/industrial HVAC ventilation systems

  • Interpret construction drawings, schematics, and project specifications

  • Assist with pre-construction coordination and produce detailed shop drawings

  • Work independently and collaboratively as part of a project team

  • Uphold company standards of safety, professionalism, and workmanship

  • Represent Action Air to clients and uphold our reputation for quality and service

Requirements:
  • CT Licensed Sheetmetal Mechanic or experienced Sheet Metal Apprentice

  • Valid driver’s license and professional license

  • Strong understanding of HVAC system fabrication and installation

  • Ability to read and interpret written, oral, and diagrammatic instructions

  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
