What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive as a plumber, and why are they important?

To thrive as a Plumber, you need a solid understanding of plumbing systems, pipefitting, and safety protocols, typically supported by completion of an apprenticeship or vocational training and appropriate state licensing. Familiarity with tools such as pipe cutters, threading machines, and diagnostic equipment, as well as knowledge of local building codes, is essential. These skills and qualities ensure that plumbing installations and repairs are performed safely, efficiently, and up to regulatory standards.

What are some common challenges plumbers face when working on residential versus commercial projects?

Being adaptable and having strong problem-solving skills are crucial for success in both environments.
