At VCA Valley Animal Hospital, in South Windsor CT, you can be the Veterinary Technician you have always wanted to be!

We are a 4 doctor, full service hospital located just outside of Hartford Ct. that has served the community for over 30 years. We have a collaborative culture in our hospital that values each person’s individual skill and personality. We treat each patient, pet parent, and team member like part of the family! We are seeking a Credentialed Veterinary Technician to join our medical team.

Veterinary Technician Duties:
  • Procedural anesthesia monitoring
  • Full Technician Skill Utilization
  • Collecting patient histories & thorough physical exams
  • Venipuncture / IVC placement
  • Hands Free Radiology (Associate safety a top priority)
  • Working collaboratively with team members of all hospital services
  • Providing compassionate care for all patients

Potential Schedule: Full-time flexible availability (Four, 10s) weekend rotation & evening rotation required. Open 6 days a week.

Compensation: $26.00 - $33.00 / hr based on skill set, experience, and licensure status.
