Job description

Division: Facility Services - Trotter & Morton Facility Services

Part of the Trotter & Morton Group of Companies, Trotter & Morton Facility Services provides 24/7 preventive and predictive mechanical system maintenance and repair to condominiums, commercial, and institutional buildings.

We are looking to hire hard-working and committed individuals who will contribute to our team of experienced technicians by bringing their willingness to learn and high-quality workmanship to every job. We are currently looking for a Service Plumber to join our team!

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Review work orders that include identification of the problem, determine required services and pick up replacement parts 
  • Perform plumbing repairs on a large and varied housing inventory that includes apartments, townhouses, commercial, industrial, and semi-detached units
  • Make recommendations on more extensive plumbing issues
  • Identify other unit deficiencies and report to Service Manager
  • Provide professional level of customer service to tenants
  • May prepare work estimates for clients
  • Accountable for the delivery of high customer service excellence levels
  • Responsible for sustaining high customer satisfaction levels
  • Other duties as required 
 
Required Skills
  • Attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy

  • Utilizes planning & time management skills to adhere to strict deadlines
  • Strong work ethic and positive team attitude

Required Experience

  • Journeyman Plumbing Ticket and a minimum B Gas
  • Boiler experience
  • Trade Certification/ Red Seal
  • Service Experience
  • Valid class 5 license and be able to provide a clean 5 year driving abstract
