Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Plumbing Manager to oversee, coach, and elevate our team of field technicians. In this role, you will lead daily service operations, maintain high safety and quality standards, manage operational budgets, and foster a high-performance culture.

Key Responsibilities

Team Leadership & Development: Coach, mentor, and train technicians on advanced plumbing techniques, customer service, and safety standards.

Daily Operations: Work closely with dispatch to assign jobs based on technician skill level, efficiency, and schedule needs.

Quality Assurance: Inspect completed field work to ensure all repairs and installations meet local codes, safety standards, and company quality benchmarks.

Business Growth: Monitor budgets, operational targets, and KPIs to drive overall department efficiency and profitability.

Inventory & Vendor Management: Oversee timely parts ordering and handle vendor relations regarding warranties, equipment issues, and recalls.

Cross-Department Collaboration: Partner with senior management to set and achieve company goals.

Qualifications

Experience: 5+ years of hands-on plumbing experience required (prior supervisory or management experience strongly preferred).

Education: High School Diploma or equivalent; Trade school, college, or military background preferred.

License: Valid Driver's License with a clean driving record required.

Skills: Strong expertise in plumbing repair, maintenance, time management, and team communication.

Work Authorization: Must be eligible to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.

Physical Requirements

Ability to lift/carry up to 100 lbs repeatedly.

Comfort working in tight spaces (crawlspaces, attics) and varying temperatures (indoor/outdoor).

Ability to climb ladders, operate field tablets, and travel up to 75% locally between job sites.
