Job description

Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled plumber to join our team and independently run a service van while delivering reliable residential plumbing solutions. A successful candidate is a dependable, professional with at least two years of experience who can troubleshoot issues quickly, complete quality work, and provide excellent customer service on every job. Our soul goal is maintaining high customer satisfaction, and helping us build long-term client relationships. A journeyman license is preferred, but not required for application.

Responsibilities and Duties
• Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems including pipes, fixtures, water heaters, and drainage in residential work.
• Diagnose plumbing problems accurately and provide efficient, code-compliant solutions for customers.
• Operate and maintain a company plumbing service van, including stocking materials, vehicle cleanliness, and safe driving practices. (drain equipment and large tools will be provided. you will need to provide power tools and hand tools.)
• Respond promptly to service calls that are dispatched, scheduled appointments, and emergency repairs.
(a typical day is 8:00am - 5pm, on rare occasion you will have to work later, the majority of the time you will be done before 5pm)
• Must be able to learn software (Housecall Pro). fill out invoices and receipts and collect payment from customers
• Comply with all local plumbing codes, safety regulations, and company policies at every job site. (do good work, no hacks)
• Communicate clearly and professionally with customers, providing updates, estimates, and service explanations.
• Maintain accurate records of work performed, notes taken for software, and time spent on each job.

Qualifications and Skills
• At least two years of hands-on experience as a plumber who can independently run and maintain a service van.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Strong knowledge of plumbing tools, materials, techniques, and strong work ethic
• Ability to lift heavy equipment, work in confined spaces, and handle physical demands of the trade.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and a customer-focused attitude.
• High school diploma or equivalent (trade school or apprenticeship training preferred).
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently or as part of a small team.
