Job description

Service Plumbing Apprentice
4 Day Work Week | No On-Call | No Sales Pressure
Prime Plumbing & Drains – Noblesville, IN
Work-Life Balance + Real Plumbing Training
At Prime Plumbing & Drains, we believe plumbers should focus on craftsmanship and helping customers — not high-pressure sales.

Our team works a 4-day schedule, has NO on-call, and receives hands-on mentorship to grow into licensed plumbers and service technicians.
If you’ve already started learning the trade and want to continue developing your skills in a supportive environment, we’d love to meet you.
Work-Life Balance That Actually Exists
We believe great plumbers shouldn’t have to sacrifice their personal lives to succeed in the trade.
Our technicians work a staggered 4-day schedule (four 10-hour days) which includes:
Three-day weekends every week
Four consecutive days off built into the rotation
Only one Saturday shift per month
NO ON-CALL

As our team continues to grow, the Saturday rotation will become even less frequent.
Our goal is simple: build a career that supports your life outside of work — not one that competes with it.

No Sales Pressure
At Prime Plumbing & Drains, our technicians are not commissioned salespeople.

We focus on diagnosing problems, educating homeowners, and delivering quality work, not pushing unnecessary services.
If you take pride in your craft and want to work somewhere that values honesty and professionalism, you’ll fit right in.
Continue Your Training the Right Way
We are a U.S. Department of Labor Mechanical Skills sponsor, and we help apprentices continue progressing toward their plumbing license through:
• Paid plumbing school tuition
 • Mentorship from experienced plumbers
 • Real service plumbing experience
 • Hands-on learning in residential environments
For the right person who shows initiative and reliability, there is a clear path toward running your own service truck.

What You'll Do
• Assist licensed plumbers with diagnostics and repairs
 • Install plumbing fixtures such as toilets, faucets, disposals, and water heaters
 • Work on water, drain, and gas piping systems
 • Learn residential plumbing service and troubleshooting
 • Maintain a clean and professional work environment
 • Communicate professionally with homeowners
Work is primarily residential service with some light commercial work.

What We're Looking For
• Previous plumbing or skilled trade experience preferred
 • Strong work ethic and willingness to continue learning
 • Positive attitude and coachable mindset
 • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
 • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
 • Ability to pass background check and drug screening
Why Prime Plumbing & Drains
4-day work week with built-in 3-day weekends
NO ON-CALL
