POSITION SUMMARY
Pro Plumbing is seeking a motivated and dependable Plumbing Apprentice to support our
licensed plumbers on residential and commercial plumbing projects. This entry-level position
is ideal for individuals looking to build a long-term career in the plumbing trade by gaining
hands-on experience in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
As a Plumbing Apprentice, you’ll assist with the installation, maintenance, and repair of
plumbing systems under the guidance of a licensed professional. Responsibilities include
preparing materials and tools, digging trenches, cutting and fitting pipes, and ensuring the
job site remains clean and organized. You’ll also help with loading/unloading supplies,
identifying tools, and supporting the plumber during inspections, installations, and
troubleshooting.
OBJECTIVES 
 Assist licensed plumbers with material preparation, tool setup, and job site staging.
 Safely dig trenches, backfill, and support underground piping installation.
 Cut, measure, and prep pipe materials (PVC, copper, PEX) to specification.
 Maintain a clean, organized, and hazard-free job site throughout the workday.
 Load and unload tools, materials, and equipment from company vehicles.
 Support pipe fitting, fixture placement, and rough-in installations under supervision.
 Follow verbal and written instructions with accuracy and attention to detail.
 Identify and gather required tools and supplies without delay.
 Support basic troubleshooting activities alongside licensed plumber.
 Adhere to all company safety protocols, including PPE and ladder safety.
 Communicate clearly with team members and supervisors about progress or needs.
 Complete daily time logs and material usage reports accurately.
 Demonstrate continuous learning on plumbing systems, tools, and trade practices.
 Maintain respectful and professional interactions with clients and contractors on-site.
 Show up on time and prepared, contributing to a productive and accountable team
culture.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
