Maintenance Supervisor - Affordable Housing | Ontario, NY


Salary: $24.00 - $25.00 | Full-Time | Monday-Friday, 40hrs

What You'll Bring as a Maintenance Supervisor


You're organized, dependable, and skilled in both leadership and repair work. You bring:

  • 5+ years of apartment or residential maintenance experience, including team supervision.
  • HVAC certification and knowledge of inspections, preventive maintenance, and Fair Housing.
  • Expertise in plumbing, electrical, carpentry, painting, and safety compliance.
  • Experience managing budgets, vendors, and maintenance schedules.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Yardi or similar systems.
  • Reliable transportation and the ability to respond within 30 minutes for on-call emergencies.
  • High school diploma or GED (technical or vocational training preferred).



How You'll Make an Impact


As a Maintenance Supervisor at Conifer Realty, you'll:

  • Lead and train maintenance staff to uphold Conifer's quality and safety standards.
  • Manage work orders, make-ready units, and preventive maintenance schedules
  • Coordinate with the Community Manager on budgets, inspections, and resident care.
  • Ensure compliance with safety and housing regulations.
  • Assist with repairs, groundskeeping, and seasonal tasks when needed.

Requirements

Work schedules may include Saturdays, based on property performance needs such as occupancy levels, leasing activity, and rent collections.

When required, weekend coverage will be scheduled on a rotating basis and aligned with business priorities.
