Description
Work alongside licensed plumbers to learn the trade while assisting with installation, maintenance, and repair of residential plumbing systems. This is a hands-on training role leading toward journeyman licensure.
Plumber Apprentice Responsibilities
  • Assist lead plumbers on service calls, installations, and repairs
  • Transport tools, materials, and equipment to job sites
  • Learn to read blueprints and identify pipe systems, fixtures, and fittings
  • Perform basic tasks under supervision: cutting/threading pipe, soldering, drain cleaning
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
  • Document work performed and materials used
  • Provide excellent customer service and represent the company professionally
  • Complete required apprenticeship hours and coursework toward licensure

Plumber Apprentice Qualifications
  • At least 18 years of age
  • High school diploma or GED
  • Valid driver's license with clean record
  • Willingness to enroll in or currently enrolled in a state-approved apprenticeship program
  • Must be able to work in extreme conditions (i.e. cold, hot, dirty environment, cramped, on ladders etc.).
  • Must be able to bend, reach, kneel, and stand for extended periods of time
  • Must be able to lift a minimum of 75 lbs.
  • Strong work ethic, punctuality, and eagerness to learn
  • Basic math skills; mechanical aptitude a plus
  • Authorized to work in the US for any employer
