Project Engineer

Glatt Group is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Project Engineer to join our team. This role involves significant travel (up to 60% overnight and 80% including local) across the U.S., Canada, and Puerto Rico to support the startup, troubleshooting, maintenance, and customer support of our industryโ€‘leading process systems.

Responsibilities
  • Perform onโ€‘site engineering services: FATs, commissioning, training, validation, troubleshooting, and warranty support.
  • Support installation of electrical/mechanical components and retrofits; provide instructional documents as needed.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve electrical, mechanical, and control issues.
  • Act as onโ€‘site liaison between Glatt and the customer, communicating scope changes and project updates.
  • Document service activities: protocols, checklists, trip reports, drawing markups.
  • Support rebuilds, preventive maintenance, and safety evaluations.
  • Provide feedback to the Process Automation team for continuous improvement.
  • Offer remote technical support to customers.
  • Collaborate with project managers and internal departments throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Maintain high service standards and strong interpersonal relationships with customers and global teams.
Qualifications
  • Bachelorโ€™s or Associateโ€™s degree in Engineering or 5+ years of relevant experience.
  • Experience with Hydraulics, pneumatics, AC/DC systems.
  • Experience with hand tools, basic welding/metalworking.
  • Experience with Psychrometrics, VFDs, Allen Bradley PLC ladder logic.
  • Control system documentation (P&IDs, schematics, panel layouts).
  • Familiarity with NFPA, NEC, and NEMA standards.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Windows, Office, Access, and/or SQL Server.
  • Valid driverโ€™s license required.
Salary Range

$95,000-$125,000
