Job Description Description: We are placing an experienced PLC Automation Engineer with our client Ada, MI. Learn more about working with a variety of clients, solutions, and environments to develop best in class solutions. Responsibilities: Participate in designing, programming, and commissioning of control systems for automated solutions Ownership of PLC programming (Allen-Bradley) Provide on-site installation support and system commissioning at client facilities Troubleshoot and resolve complex control system issues during startup and ongoing operations Collaborate with project teams to ensure timely delivery of control system solutions Conduct system testing, validation, and documentation Provide technical support and training to customers and internal teams Interface with clients to understand requirements and provide technical expertise Required Qualifications/Skills: 3+ years of hands-on experience in PLC controls and design Proficiency in PLC programming (Allen-Bradley) Understanding of industrial communication protocols and networking Knowledge of motor controls, variable frequency drives, and power distribution Flexibility and willingness to travel for project work Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills Strong communication and customer service abilities Manage and report on installations and commissioning Travel Requirements: Up to 40% travel required Travel primarily for installation, commissioning, and support activities.
