Job description

Role Summary

As a PLC Controls Engineer II, you will support the commissioning and testing of automated material handling systems, including high-speed sortation, scanning, and merging applications. This is an excellent opportunity for early-career engineers to gain hands-on experience in a dynamic, travel-intensive role.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in PLC programming, HMI development, and system commissioning
  • Support project scope, schedule, and deliverables
  • Collaborate with internal and external engineering teams
  • Help develop technical documentation (QA/QC, test plans)
  • Participate in BUAT/UAT/FAT testing and post-installation support
  • Contribute to customer training and troubleshooting
  • Perferred - US Citizen or Perm Resident not required

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field
  • Up to 4 years of experience in controls engineering or material handling
  • Exposure to Allen-Bradley PLCs and Wonderware Aveva Edge (or similar HMI platforms)
  • Experience or interest in post and parcel operations (preferred)
