To thrive as a PLC Apprentice, you need a basic understanding of electrical systems, mechanical aptitude, and a high school diploma or equivalent, often supported by enrollment in a technical training program. Familiarity with PLC programming software (such as Siemens or Allen-Bradley), wiring diagrams, and diagnostic tools is typically required. What is a PLC apprentice?

PLC apprentices are entry-level trainees who learn how to work with Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs), which are industrial computers used to control manufacturing processes.
