Location: Plano, TX

Important: Candidates must be comfortable working onsite in Plano, TX 5 days/week.

Role Overview

We are looking for a Mid-Level or Senior SDET with strong experience in Playwright and TypeScript.

The candidate will be responsible for building and maintaining automated tests for UI and APIs, improving test coverage, and integrating automation into CI/CD pipelines.

Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain automation frameworks using Playwright + TypeScript
  • Automate UI and API tests
  • Create reusable automation components using Page Object Model, fixtures, and utilities
  • Integrate automated tests with CI/CD pipelines
  • Work with Developers, QA, and Product teams on testing requirements
  • Identify, troubleshoot, and report defects
  • Improve test stability and reduce flaky tests
  • Maintain regression and functional test suites

Required Experience

  • Strong hands-on experience with Playwright + TypeScript
  • Experience with UI and API automation testing
  • Knowledge of Functional, Regression, Smoke, and Integration Testing
  • Experience with Git
  • Experience working in Agile/Scrum
  • Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, or GitLab CI
  • Ability to write clean and maintainable automation code
  • API testing using Playwright API, REST, Postman, or Pact
  • Test reporting tools such as Allure or Playwright HTML Reporter
  • Basic performance testing with k6 or JMeter
  • Docker or Cloud experience (AWS/Azure/Google Cloud Platform)
  • Accessibility or Visual Testing experience
