Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Quality Engineering (QE) Engineer to join our technology team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the quality, reliability, and performance of web-based applications through robust test automation and quality engineering practices. This role requires expertise in either Selenium or Playwright automation frameworks along with strong knowledge of software testing methodologies, CI/CD processes, and Agile delivery models.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Selenium or Playwright.
  • Create and execute functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end test cases.
  • Collaborate closely with developers, business analysts, product owners, and DevOps teams throughout the SDLC.
  • Analyze test results, identify defects, and work with development teams for resolution.
  • Implement and maintain test automation frameworks and reusable testing assets.

 

Required Skills & Experience

  • 8+ years of experience in Quality Engineering, QA Automation, or Software Testing.
  • Hands-on experience with Selenium WebDriver or Playwright.
  • Strong programming skills in Java, JavaScript, TypeScript, or Python or .net.
  • Experience with test frameworks such as TestNG, JUnit, Jest, or similar.
  • Knowledge of API testing using tools such as Postman, Rest Assured, or equivalent.

 

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with BDD frameworks such as Cucumber.
  • Knowledge of performance and non-functional testing concepts.
  • Exposure to cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud Platform.
  • Understanding of database testing and SQL queries.
  • Experience working in enterprise-scale digital transformation programs.
  • Relevant certifications in software testing or quality engineering.
