Overview Job Title: AI Test Automation Engineer - Regrello Location: Hybrid - Phoenix, AZ Job Type: Independent Contract (Contractor / Non-Employee) Start Date: ASAP Pay Rate: $80-$90 per hour C2C/1099 Contract Length: 12+ Months We are seeking a highly motivated QA/Test Automation Engineer to support the testing, validation, and quality assurance of solutions built on the Regrello platform. This role will be responsible for developing and executing test strategies, automating business process testing, validating integrations, and ensuring high-quality workflow automation solutions across enterprise environments. The ideal candidate will have experience in test automation, API testing, workflow validation, and enterprise application quality assurance. This individual will work closely with Product Owners, Software Engineers, Technical Leads, and business stakeholders to ensure that Regrello workflows, integrations, and platform enhancements meet business, functional, and performance requirements. Regrello is a workflow orchestration platform that coordinates complex business processes, enterprise applications, documents, and cross-functional teams across manufacturing, supply chain, engineering, quality, and operational environments. Responsibilities Key Responsibilities Quality Assurance & Testing * Develop and execute comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts. * Validate business process workflows configured within the Regrello platform. * Ensure all product features meet functional and business requirements. * Participate in requirement reviews and provide testability assessments. * Track, document, and verify defect resolution. Test Automation * Design and implement automated testing frameworks. * Develop and maintain automated regression test suites. * Automate workflow execution and business process validation scenarios. * Create reusable test assets and automation libraries. * Integrate automated testing into CI/CD deployment pipelines. Workflow Validation * Test end-to-end workflow orchestration processes. * Validate task routing, approvals, notifications, escalations, and exception handling. * Verify workflow configurations align with business requirements. * Ensure workflow execution accuracy across multiple environments. * Support validation of complex cross-functional business processes. Integration Testing * Test integrations between Regrello and enterprise systems, including: * SAP * Oracle * Salesforce * ServiceNow * Jira * Microsoft Dynamics * MES Platforms * PLM Systems * Data Warehouses * Validate data integrity and synchronization processes. * Perform API, middleware, and interface testing. * Verify error handling and recovery processes. API & Data Testing * Develop automated API test cases. * Validate REST API functionality and performance. * Test JSON and XML data transactions. * Verify authentication, authorization, and security controls. * Ensure accurate data processing across integrations. Agile Delivery Support * Participate in sprint planning, backlog refinement, and release activities. * Collaborate with developers and product teams during development cycles. * Review user stories and acceptance criteria. * Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and production validation efforts. Performance & Reliability Testing * Execute performance and load testing activities. * Identify workflow bottlenecks and scalability concerns. * Validate system reliability under expected business volumes. * Support stress and endurance testing initiatives. Defect Management * Identify, document, prioritize, and track defects. * Perform root cause analysis in collaboration with engineering teams. * Verify fixes and validate production readiness. * Measure and report quality metrics throughout the SDLC. Documentation & Reporting * Create test plans, test scripts, and execution reports. * Maintain traceability between requirements and test cases. * Develop quality metrics dashboards and status reports. * Document testing procedures and best practices. Qualifications Required Qualifications * Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field. * 3+ years of Quality Assurance or Test Automation experience. * Experience testing enterprise software platforms and workflow applications. * Experience with Agile/Scrum development methodologies. * Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills. * Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
