Playground Manager
Position Summary
Adventurous Playground is looking for a dependable, energetic, and highly organized Playground Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of our indoor playground.
The Manager will help ensure that the facility is safe, clean, welcoming, organized, and running efficiently. This is a hands-on position that includes supervising staff, supporting birthday parties and special events, assisting customers, monitoring the play areas, handling opening and closing responsibilities, and addressing problems as they arise.
We are looking for someone who can take ownership of the facility and confidently manage operations when the owners are not present.

Key Responsibilities
Daily Operations

  • Oversee the daily operation of the playground.
  • Complete opening and closing procedures.
  • Ensure the facility is clean, organized, and ready for guests.
  • Monitor playground capacity, reservations, check-ins, and guest flow.
  • Make sure all guests follow playground rules and safety procedures.
  • Identify and report maintenance, safety, or equipment concerns immediately.
Staff Management

  • Supervise and support playground and party staff during each shift.
  • Assign staff responsibilities and ensure tasks are completed.
  • Make sure employees arrive on time and are prepared for their shifts.
  • Provide direction, coaching, and feedback when necessary.
  • Help coordinate staff coverage when needed.

Customer Service

Safety & Cleanliness

  • Maintain a high standard of cleanliness throughout the facility.
  • Ensure staff follow cleaning and sanitizing procedures.
  • Regularly inspect play areas for safety concerns.
  • Make sure playground rules are consistently enforced.
  • Respond appropriately to incidents, injuries, or emergencies.
  • Complete incident documentation when necessary.
Business & Administrative Support

  • Monitor supplies and notify ownership when items need to be reordered.
  • Assist with basic inventory management.
  • Accurately handle payments and point-of-sale transactions.
  • Communicate important information from each shift to ownership.
  • Help identify ways to improve operations, customer experience, and staff efficiency.
Qualifications
  • Previous management, supervisory, hospitality, recreation, childcare, retail, or customer-service experience preferred.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills.
  • Dependable, responsible, and punctual.
