Boom Lift Operator

Archetype Infrastructure Solutions (AIS) is seeking experienced Boom Lift Operators to support one of the nation's largest data center construction projects in the Dallas, Texas area. This position is ideal for safety-focused professionals with experience operating aerial lifts in commercial or industrial construction environments.

The Boom Lift Operator will safely transport personnel, tools, and materials while supporting structured cabling, fiber optic, electrical, and infrastructure installation crews throughout the project.

Responsibilities
  • Safely operate articulating and telescopic boom lifts in accordance with OSHA and manufacturer guidelines.
  • Transport technicians, tools, materials, and equipment to elevated work areas.
  • Perform daily equipment inspections and complete pre-operation safety checklists.
  • Maintain safe work zones and communicate effectively with ground personnel.
  • Assist construction crews with material handling when lift operation is not required.
  • Follow all site-specific safety policies and OSHA regulations.
  • Report equipment deficiencies, maintenance needs, or safety concerns immediately.
  • Work closely with project managers, foremen, and other trades to maintain project schedules.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area.
  • Operate equipment in active construction environments while maintaining situational awareness.
Qualifications
  • Minimum 2 years of boom lift operating experience on commercial or industrial construction projects.
  • Previous experience working on data centers, warehouses, manufacturing facilities, or large commercial construction projects preferred.
  • Ability to safely operate both articulating and telescopic boom lifts.
  • Knowledge of job site safety procedures and fall protection requirements.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to work overtime and weekends as project demands require.
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States.
Preferred Qualifications
  • OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 Certification.
  • MEWP (Mobile Elevated Work Platform) Operator Certification.
  • Experience supporting structured cabling, electrical, telecommunications, or data center construction crews.
  • CPR/First Aid Certification (preferred).
Physical Requirements
  • Ability to work at heights for extended periods.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Comfortable working indoors in active construction environments.
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, climb, and work throughout a full shift.
  • Willingness to work overtime as needed.
