Job Description:

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITY:

Design and implement the Company's Developer Portal and the executable blueprint orchestration layer using Backstage. This role is the front door of Company's emerging Internal Developer Platform — every internal engineering team will interact with what this engineer builds. 

REQUIRED SKILLS:

•  Strong experience with Backstage platform engineering 

•  Experience building custom Backstage plugins, templates, and scaffolder workflows 

•  Experience integrating Backstage with: 

•  Jenkins 

•  Terraform 

•  Bitbucket 

•  Vault 

•  ArgoCD 

•  REST APIs 

•  Strong Node.js / TypeScript / React experience 

•  Experience designing developer self-service platforms 

•  Understanding of software catalog and blueprint management concepts 

•  API-driven orchestration experience 

•  Experience implementing RBAC and enterprise authentication integrations 

•  Familiarity with OpenShift / Kubernetes integrations preferred 

•  Strong understanding of platform engineering operating models
