About the Role

This is a hands-on accounting role with real visibility into how a growing business operates. You will work directly alongside ownership across a portfolio of companies in beverage CPG, brand incubation, distribution, and wholesale, including Savia USA, SmartBrands USA, and Xpress Distributors.
If you want a role where your work actually matters, where you can see the impact of clean books on real business decisions, and where there is a clear path to grow into a Senior Accountant or Controller, this is the opportunity.
What You Will Do

  • Reconcile bank accounts, credit cards, and merchant accounts monthly across multiple entities
  • Maintain accurate books in Zoho Books and QuickBooks, including journal entries, AP, AR, and GL upkeep
  • Process vendor bills, customer invoices, and payment runs
  • Track intercompany transactions and assist with month-end close
  • Support sales tax filings, 1099 prep, and year-end close coordination with our outside CPA
  • Maintain organized digital records for all transactions
  • Flag discrepancies and propose process improvements
  • Help build and refine internal accounting workflows as we scale
What We Are Looking For

  • 2 to 3 years of hands-on accounting experience
  • Working proficiency in both Zoho Books and QuickBooks
  • Solid understanding of double-entry bookkeeping, accruals, and basic GAAP
  • Ability to reconcile accounts independently and close books monthly
  • Strong Excel skills, including pivot tables, VLOOKUP, and formulas
  • Detail-oriented and organized, with the ability to manage multiple entities at once
  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred
Bonus Points If You Have

  • Multi-entity bookkeeping experience
  • Inventory accounting background
  • Experience in beverage, food CPG, distribution, or wholesale
