  • Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, continuous improvement, and customer service.

Process Improvement & Automation

  • Identify opportunities to simplify, standardize, automate, or eliminate manual accounting processes.
  • Lead cross-functional process improvement initiatives that improve efficiency, scalability, and financial accuracy.
  • Partner with IT and business stakeholders on ERP enhancements, workflow automation, and system implementations.
  • Leverage Microsoft Dynamics 365, Power Platform, Tableau, FloQast, and related technologies to improve reporting and operational efficiency.
  • Develop KPIs to measure the effectiveness of process improvements.

  • Oversee the Accounts Payable function, ensuring timely invoice processing, vendor payments, and resolution of escalated issues.
  • Monitor AP performance metrics and identify opportunities to improve efficiency, controls, and automation.

  • Ensure compliance with company policies, delegated authority, and internal controls.

Month-End & Year-End Close:

  • Manage the monthly and annual close processes for assigned functions within established deadlines, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting.
  • Review journal entries, account reconciliations, and supporting analyses.
  • Identify opportunities to shorten the close process through automation and standardization.

Technical Accounting Guidance:

  • Provide technical accounting guidance and support.
  • Research and interpret accounting guidance to ensure appropriate accounting treatment for new transactions and business initiatives.
  • Assist in implementing new accounting standards and company policies.

Internal Controls & Compliance

  • Maintain and enhance internal controls over financial reporting.
  • Support internal and external audits.
  • Ensure compliance with GAAP and company accounting policies.
  • Identify control gaps and implement corrective actions.

Reporting & Analysis:

  • Analyze reports, providing insights and recommendations to senior management.
  • Utilize Microsoft Power Platform, Tableau, FloQast, and Microsoft Dynamics 365 to enhance reporting capabilities and streamline processes.
  • Monitor key performance indicators and metrics.

Qualifications:

Education & Experience:
