Position Summary:

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Machine Operator to join our manufacturing team. In this role, you will operate injection molding machines, inspect products for quality, package finished goods, and support production operations while maintaining a safe and organized work environment.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate injection molding machines according to work instructions and established procedures.
  • Monitor machine operation to ensure proper functionality and production efficiency.
  • Inspect products and verify conformance to customer specifications and quality standards.
  • Remove, trim, and segregate products as required.
  • Package parts according to packaging requirements.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
  • Follow all company safety policies, procedures, and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs).
  • Perform forklift operations (manual and electric-powered) as needed.
  • Enter production and process information into company databases.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
  • Mold setup experience is a plus.




Requirements:

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED preferred.
  • 1–3 years of manufacturing, machine operation, or related experience preferred.
  • Equivalent combination of education, training, and experience will be considered.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Good communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work under moderate supervision.

Skills & Abilities

  • Basic math skills, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, ratios, and percentages.
  • Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
  • Basic computer skills, including data entry and familiarity with Microsoft Excel and Word.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
  • Frequent use of hands and fingers to handle products and equipment.
  • Ability to occasionally bend, stoop, kneel, and crouch.
  • Regularly lift up to 10 pounds.
  • Frequently lift up to 25 pounds.
  • Occasionally lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Ability to work in a manufacturing environment with moving machinery and elevated noise levels.

Work Environment

  • Manufacturing facility with exposure to moving mechanical equipment.
  • Occasional exposure to fumes, airborne particles, and electrical equipment.
  • Loud work environment requiring adherence to safety procedures and use of appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).
