Registered Nurse (RN) - Med Surg - RNMSAL job at NavitsPartners. Asbury Park, NJ.

Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) – Med Surg

Location: Bricktown, NJ

Duration: 13 Weeks (with possible extension)

Shift: 3x12 Nights | 6:45 PM – 7:15 AM | 36 hours/week

Schedule: Every other weekend & holiday rotation required

Pay Range: Local: Up to $55/hr; Traveler: Up to $63/hr

Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced Medical-Surgical Registered Nurse for a contract assignment in Bricktown, NJ. The RN will be responsible for delivering patient-centered care in a fast-paced Med-Surg environment, collaborating with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to ensure safe and effective treatment.

Responsibilities
  • Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care based on patient needs and physician orders
  • Develop and coordinate individualized plans of care
  • Administer therapeutic interventions and monitor patient responses
  • Accurately document care based on patient acuity, clinical standards, and unit priorities
  • Serve as a patient advocate and uphold professional nursing practice models
  • Support evidence-based care standards and innovation in care delivery
Qualifications
  • Active NJ RN License (must be in hand)
  • Minimum 2 years of recent Med-Surg experience
  • Education: ASN required; BSN preferred
  • Certifications: BLS (AHA required)
Schedule Notes
  • Night shift: 6:45 PM – 7:15 AM
  • Every other weekend (Saturday & Sunday) required
  • Holiday coverage required (Labor Day or 4th of July)
  • Floating required; no on-call responsibilities
  • Patient Ratio: 6–7:1
